The Lazy Review: The Black Eyed Peas – Where Is The Love (2016)

It’s been a long time coming but today is the day that we tell you Black Eyed Peas are back!! Cue lots of jumping up and down and squealing with excitement.

BUT WAIT!!

There’s a catch!

It’s not all good news. Will.I.Am and the other members of the group are re-releasing ‘Where Is The Love’ as their new single. Slightly lazy of them right!? Plus, we’re really struggling to hear or even see any of the other members from the group.

It’s more like a Will.I.Am video featuring a bunch of random ass celebs.
Jessie J is there, alongside Will Smiths son Jaden, plus a whole bunch of other artists including Nicole Scherzinger, Mary J Blige, Usher, Jamie Foxx and more. The whole song is beginning to look like another band aid single.

Here’s what The Black Eyed Peas had to say about the re-release of the single.

We almost feel like Will.I.Am sees himself as some sort of Avenger! Yeah, we admire the sentiment but we think it’s going to take a lot more than a 2003 Black Eyed Peas song featuring Jessie J to sort the world out. The whole thing comes off as a desperate attempt for Will.I.Am to get back in the charts and look like the good Samaritan whilst doing so.

Check out the new version here:

THE LAZY REVIEW: C’MON! WITH ALL THIS TALENT, COULD THEY NOT COME UP WITH A NEW SONG? OH AND LESS OF THE EFFECTS! WHAT A MESS!!

There’s always the original song which still has a strong message, a better melody and will always be better than the 2016 version which is basically a pile of shite!
