Some of the biggest singers on the planet have joined ‘Hands’ for a new charity single to help the victims of the Orlando shootings which took place on June 12th 2016 at Pulse nightclub.
To date, the shootings have been the deadliest act of violence against the LGBT community. The shocking event took the lives of 49 people and injured 53.
A brand new song has been released called ‘Hands’ which aims to raise money for victims of the massacre.
The single features some of the biggest names in music, including; Britney Spears, Pink, JLo, Gwen Stefani, Jason Derulo, Selena Gomez, Mary J Blige, Troy Sivan, Adam Lambert and more.
Funds from the song will aid families with medical care, counseling and will also be used for education.
The song sounds like an instant hit and we would really love for a worldwide number 1 with this record.
Usually when charity singles get released they’re not very good. It can often be an excuse for artists to record “not very good” music and expect it to be a hit just because it’s for charity.
‘Hands’ is not guilty of this in the slightest, in fact, it’s actually a brilliant pop record with an extremely powerful message. The chorus is simple yet chilling, it really does make the hair on your arms stand up.
The track was written by the same team that wrote Justin Biebers – Sorry.
